Delivery

Returns & cancelling your order

Changed your mind?

You have the legal right to cancel your order within 14 days of the day you receive it, without giving a reason.

  1. Tell us within those 14 days. An email to hello@prayermatsnap.com is easiest. You can also use the form below, but you don’t have to.
  2. Send the kit back to the address above within 14 days of telling us. Unless the kit is faulty, you pay the return postage.
  3. We refund the full price, including the original delivery charge, within 14 days of receiving the kit back (or proof that you’ve posted it), using the same card you paid with.

If the kit has been used in a way that goes beyond what’s needed to check it (for example, the Command™ strips have already been stuck to a wall), we may reduce the refund to reflect that.

Something wrong with it?

If your kit arrives faulty or damaged, or isn’t as described, email us within 30 days for a refund, or at any time after that for a repair or replacement. This doesn’t affect your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

Terms of sale

  1. The product. One MatSnap kit contains two wall mounts, two mat clamps and two pairs of large Command™ strips, and hangs one prayer mat. Colours may look slightly different on screen. As each piece is made to order in the UK, you may see faint layer lines on its surface; this is normal.
  2. Price and payment. The price is the one shown on the website when you order, and it includes UK delivery. Payment is taken by card through Stripe when you place your order. We never see or store your card details.
  3. Your order. Our contract with you starts when your payment goes through and Stripe emails your receipt. If we can’t supply your order for any reason, we’ll tell you and refund you in full.
  4. Using MatSnap. Follow the instructions in the kit and on the Command™ strip packet. MatSnap is made for prayer mats, not heavy rugs or other loads.
  5. Our responsibility. We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care. We are not responsible for loss caused by not following the instructions, for example damage to wallpaper or freshly painted walls. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can’t be limited by law, or your legal rights as a consumer.
  6. Law. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings in your local courts.

Privacy

Who we are: [YOUR FULL NAME or COMPANY NAME] trading as MatSnap (contact details above) is responsible for your personal information.

What we collect: when you buy, our payment provider Stripe collects your name, email address, delivery address and card details on its secure checkout page. Stripe shares your name, email and delivery address with us; your card details stay with Stripe. If you email us, we have your email and whatever you write.

Why: only to take your payment, deliver your order, send you a receipt, handle returns and answer questions. That’s what we need to do to fulfil our contract with you, and to keep the records the law requires. We don’t send marketing emails, and we never sell your information.

Who else sees it: Stripe (payments, see stripe.com/gb/privacy), the postal service that delivers your kit, and our accountant or HMRC if needed for tax.

How long: order records are kept for six years for tax purposes, then deleted.

Cookies: this website doesn’t use cookies, analytics or tracking of any kind. Stripe’s checkout page uses its own cookies to process payments safely and prevent fraud.

Your rights: you can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you by emailing us. If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).

Safety & care

Contains strong neodymium magnets and small parts. Not a toy.

  • Keep out of reach of young children and pets. Swallowed magnets can cause serious internal injury: get medical help straight away if a magnet is swallowed.
  • Keep the magnets away from pacemakers and other implanted medical devices, and from bank cards and electronics.
  • The magnets can snap together hard. Keep your fingers out from between the clamp and the wall mount.
